The ideal candidate is driven, creative, and committed to the growth and success of our organization and the teens we serve.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, plan, and implement engaging teen programs and activities that promote leadership, career readiness, healthy lifestyles, and academic success. Recruit, mentor, and build positive relationships with teens to increase daily participation. Collaborate with staff, parents, schools, and community partners to support program goals. Encourage and track volunteer hours, service projects, and leadership opportunities for members. Ensure a safe, fun, and inclusive environment for all teens. Assist with special events, fundraising, and community outreach.
Qualifications:
Experience working with youth, preferably teens (school, nonprofit, community, or club setting). Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Passion for youth development and community impact. Ability to plan programs and motivate participation. CPR/First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain). Why Join Us? Program Staff (Youth Development Professional)

PRIMARY FUNCTION
Responsible for overseeing the delivery of a broad range of programs within the scope of YouthDevelopment, such as Character and Leadership development, Education and Career development, Health and Life Skills, the Arts, and Sports/Fitness and Recreation. Assist in planning, developing, overseeing implementation, and supervise programs.
KEY ROLES
(Essential Job Responsibilities): I. Create an environment that facilitates the achievement of youth development outcomes. a. Participate in program orientation/staff training process b. Promote and stimulate program participation, implement/assist in various enrichment programs c. Implement self-esteem and variety of learning activities d. Provide positive role modeling II. Program Development and Implementation a. Effectively implement and administer programs, services and activities b. Monitor and evaluate programs, services and activities to ensure safety of members in programs and appearance of site at all times c. Prepare program sheet reports, and other required documents for assessment d. Work closely with Unit Director, Staff and parents to ensure successful program deliveryIII. Supervision a. Ensure all youth are properly supervised and encouraged to participate in activities b. Work with staff, parents and volunteers, for special events to carry out programs in all areas, including fundraising 2. Exercise his/her authority in problem solving relating to members; utilizes guidance and discipline plan 3. Assume all other duties as assigned
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS / WORK ENVIRONMENT
Physical requirements include some physical exertion such as lifting (up to 40 lbs.), stretching and bending in a Club setting as well as standing for long periods of time. The work environment is in a club environment and includes interaction with children ages 6-18 and can be noisy at times.
SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED
2-year degree from an accredited college or university preferred 1-3 years working with youth or equivalent experience. Ability to motivate Club members Organizational skills and attention to detail Computer skills Presentation skills Ability to engage members, families and staff Task oriented and task completion Able to work with limited supervision and direction

This role requires a strategic thinker who can effectively manage teams, engage with the community, and drive initiatives that promote public health and social welfare. Duties Oversee the development and implementation of programs that align with the organization's goals. Manage and supervise staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance. Engage in volunteer management to foster a strong community of supporters. Conduct public speaking engagements to promote the organization's mission and initiatives. Lead fundraising efforts through innovative strategies and community engagement. Develop marketing strategies to enhance visibility and outreach through various channels, including social media management. Collect and analyze data to assess program effectiveness and inform decision-making. Collaborate with stakeholders in addiction counseling, public health, and social work to address community needs. Provide administrative oversight to ensure efficient operation of the organization. Recruit, train, and mentor new staff members while fostering a positive work environment. Teach workshops or training sessions relevant to the organization's focus areas. Qualifications Proven experience in leadership roles with a focus on supervising teams effectively. Strong skills in program development, project management, and volunteer management. Excellent public speaking abilities with experience in engaging diverse audiences. Background in marketing, data collection, social media management, addiction counseling, public health, or social work is highly desirable. Demonstrated ability to lead fundraising initiatives successfully. Administrative experience is essential for managing organizational operations efficiently. Strong recruiting skills with a passion for mentoring others. A commitment to teaching and sharing knowledge within the community.
