Job Description

This is a part-time position. Instructs gymnastics in the County sports program for youth and related work as apparent or assigned. Activities will primarily be for children between the ages of 2 - 12 years of age. Courses are scheduled for 8 weeks. Work schedules vary from 5 to 15 hours per week depending upon activity. Work is performed under the supervision of the Leisure Programs Supervisor . Organizes, plans, and instructs youth in the fundamentals of gymnastics. Plans and actively participates with children in a varity of gymnastics skills and basic tumbling. Communicates with parents. Interacts with the general public. Knowledge of gymnastics, tumbling or cheer; general knowledge of first aid methods; ability to monitor program participants for health risk warning signs; ability to communicate effectively in an instructional environment; ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with associates and the general public.

High school diploma or GED.
