Position Summary:
Center For Family Services Workforce Development partners with public/private organizations to provide access to wraparound social services, support linkages, job readiness skills, and career exploration. The Cape May County Out of School Youth Program Coordinator will manage the program's daily operations, including staff management, member engagement and recruitment, partner engagement, and administrative oversight. To accomplish these tasks, the Coordinator will work closely with external community partners and internal programs at the Center For Family Services. The program provides participants with a life-skills curriculum focused on job readiness and tailored to the areas that Cape May County employers have identified as most important.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage the daily operations of the YCC Cape May program, including staff management, participant engagement, outreach and recruitment, partner engagement, and program reporting Address and respond to the needs of youth ages 16-24 who are not enrolled in school Conduct participant intakes to determine program eligibility Develop a comprehensive employment plan for participants Provide ongoing support to track outcomes Provide job readiness and career exploration services to participants Identify and build internal and external partnerships between public, private, and other nonprofit organizations Identify, build, and maintain an employer network for work experience opportunities Attend all youth meetings required by the contract Work closely with internal CFS staff and partners to provide seamless services to participants Qualifications Bachelor's degree preferred. Work experience in a related field may substitute for education. Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications, Google Forms, and online database tracking systems. Ability to maintain a leadership role with the participants to motivate and influence positive behaviors. Excellent organizational and time management skills to manage multiple demands ? Demonstrated experience navigating workforce development and/or workforce services systems. Case Management experience Excellent verbal and written skills Must have access to a registered and insured vehicle for transportation throughout Cape May County. Valid driver's license. Weekend and evenings may be necessary
