This position is ideal for someone who enjoys community engagement, event planning, and working with diverse groups, including senior citizens. Duties Plan, coordinate, and implement evening and weekend programs and activities for adults. Develop educational workshops, book clubs, technology training sessions, and cultural events. Organize and lead book clubs, hobby groups and other recurring programs. Research, recruit and coordinate guest speakers, artists, musicians and instructors Promote programs through social media, print materials and community outreach Create flyers and marketing materials (experience with Canva preferred) Build attendance and community participation through effective outreach. Assist with room setup and event logistics as needed Qualifications Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Friendly, outgoing, and comfortable speaking in front of groups Experience with event planning, programming, or community engagement preferred Proficiency with social media and basic marketing Ability to write clear and engaging promotional content Experience with Canva or similar design tools preferred Ability to teach crafts or lead recreational activities is a plus.

Pay:

$22.00 - $25.00 per hour
