$16•18/hour Looking for a rewarding part-time opportunity working with children?

Join Team Child Care as a Group Leader in our After School Program serving students in Kindergarten through 5th grade in the Hillsborough School District for the 2026-2027 school year and beyond. This is a part-time position that primarily works during our afterschool program hours, making it an excellent opportunity for college students, retirees, aspiring teachers, school aides, and individuals who enjoy working with children. Before Care positions are also available.

Responsibilities:

Leading fun, age-appropriate enrichment activities with enthusiasm and creativity Using positive behavior strategies to support children's growth and cooperation Providing homework assistance and create a caring, respectful environment Ensuring the space is safe, organized, and welcoming

Hours:

Position is part-time, Monday to Friday. Hours range between 1:45pm to 6:00pm depending on the program location. This is an entry-level position with room to grow. Ideal candidates are those who genuinely enjoy working with children, are dependable, punctual, enthusiastic, team-oriented, and eager to learn.
