Head Trainer Burton Fitness Mamaroneck, NY Job Details Part-time | Full-time $50 - $57 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Youth fitness Certified Personal Trainer CPR Certification Team leadership Experience working with children AED Certification Full Job Description Burton Fitness is looking for an experienced, energetic Head Trainer to join our training team and deliver high-quality fitness and youth programming. The Head Trainer will work directly with clients while also leading other assistant trainers and ensuring that every BFIT session and program is delivered safely, professionally, and with great energy. Responsibilities Lead 1-on-1 and small-group training sessions Join the team for our occasional bootcamps Maintain high standards for coaching, professionalism, safety, and client experience Join the execution of youth and community programs, including basketball clinics, birthday parties, summer camps, school-year programs, after-school programs, family workouts, and community events Engage groups of children effectively Qualifications Personal training or coaching experience Recognized personal training certification (NASM, ACE, ACSM, NSCA, ISSA, or equivalent) CPR/AED certification Strong knowledge of strength training, conditioning, and proper exercise technique Confident leading both 1-on-1 and group workouts Comfortable and experienced working with children Strong leadership and communication skills High-energy, reliable, professional, and personable Ability to confidently lead other trainers and take ownership on-site Youth sports, basketball, camp, or school-program experience is a plus We're looking for someone who can lead by example, connect with both adults and kids, and bring energy and consistency to everything BFIT does.
