Executive Director Job Summary:

This position is the front line worker for Habitat homeownership. The Homeowner Services Coordinator will conduct outreach, process applications, and work with The Homeowner Selection Committee and Homeowner Support Committee. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, basic calculating skills (income) and ability to analyze process to ensure efficient and effective program implementation.

Responsibilities:

Recruitment/Selection of Future Habitat Homeowners Conduct outreach to solicit applications to Homeownership Program Engage with community agencies to promote Habitat program Process applications and credit reports in accordance with Equal Housing Opportunity laws and communicate results with applicants Collaborate with third party institutions to apply for home loans Work with Selection Committee Chair to train and/or accompany Homeowner Selection Committee members on home visits and create, review and revise policies and procedures Help facilitate committee meetings and application meetings Homeowner Support and Education Program Implementation Oversee Homeownership Education program for Future Homeowners Track completion of program requirements, including Sweat Equity Program

• Work with Support Committee Chair to recruit, orient and train Homeowner Support Partners, and create, review and revise policies and procedures Help facilitate committee meetings Educate families on mortgage responsibilities and payment calculation Coordinate financial coaching through GLCAP Financial Opportunity Center Work with families to prepare for new home builds and organize

Minimum Associates Degree Experience working in a non-profit organization (preferred) Excellent Microsoft Word and Excel skills Ability to process and tabulate financial information Ability to work in a team environment with volunteer committees Well organized and detail oriented Strong communication skills Other requirements to do this job: Complete Qualified Loan Originator Training (State and Federal) Pass background and credit report check Monthly committee meetings in the evening (2x/month) Occasional Saturdays during the year for events. Work hours can be flexed.
