Job Description

Continuing Legal Education and Event Coordinator Position - Dayton Bar Association The Dayton Bar Association (DBA) is seeking a highly organized, personable, and team-oriented CLE & Member Services Coordinator to join our staff. This position plays a key role in delivering continuing legal education, supporting DBA member sections and committees, and coordinating events and programs that provide value to our legal community. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who enjoys working with people, managing multiple projects, coordinating events, and working collaboratively as part of a professional team. Primary Responsibilities Develop, propose, prioritize and monitor CLE programs throughout the year Prepare accreditation, create, coordinate and implement webinars and in-person CLE programs Schedule speakers, develop topics and coordinate program logistics Manage and monitor program budgets, payments and registrations Coordinate Section meetings (both virtual and in-person) and functions and maintain schedules and agendas Work with Bar membership and volunteers to coordinate successful events Manage, initiate and maintain department communications with membership, prospective faculty, staff and program participants Assist in developing marketing messages, coordinate posting to web site and other distribution of marketing materials Communicate regularly with members, volunteers, speakers, vendors, and community partners. Respond to member inquiries and help identify educational and professional development needs. Assist the CEO and DBA staff with special projects and Association initiatives. Qualifications Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Professional, friendly, and service-oriented. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines with attention to detail. Comfortable working independently and as part of a team. Proficient with Microsoft Office and comfortable learning databases, Zoom, email marketing, and other technology. Event planning, nonprofit, association, legal, or professional education experience is preferred but not required. Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience preferred. Ability to work some evenings to support programs and events Salary Negotiable. Benefits package including health insurance and 401k.
