Community Development Coordinator HHWP Community Action Commission, a local nonprofit in Findlay, is seeking a Community Development Coordinator to strengthen community partnerships, develop impactful programming, and support initiatives focused on reducing poverty and improving outcomes for individuals and families. This position oversees the Community Services Block Grant (CSBG) and related programs while coordinating community projects and collaborative initiatives. Responsibilities include CSBG reporting, Community Needs Assessment and ROMA activities, program data and outcomes, community partnerships, grant research and development, and supporting new programs aligned with HHWP CAC's mission and strategic goals. This position is a full-time, exempt position averaging 40 hours per week. Salary range is $65,500-$81,875, based on relevant experience.
QUALIFICATIONS
: Must be sensitive to the needs of low-income individuals and able to work with individuals of all cultural backgrounds and ages. At heart, must desire advocacy for the agency's mission to reduce the conditions of poverty. The successful candidate should be an organized, collaborative, and self-directed professional who is comfortable building relationships, coordinating multiple projects, and communicating with a variety of internal and external partners. - Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred. Significant prior experience in project coordination, nonprofit operations, community initiatives, or program management may be accepted in lieu of the preferred educational credential. - Two or more years of experience in grant writing, project coordination, nonprofit or governmental operations, community initiatives, or program management is required.
