Job Description

Overview Join our dedicated team as a Clothing Pantry Associate and play a vital role in providing essential clothing resources to individuals and families in need. This energetic position involves organizing, managing and distributing clothing items with compassion and efficiency, and coordinating volunteers and community service workers. The ideal candidate will enjoy working with people, be comfortable with physical tasks and have strong organizational and communication skills. Duties Assist clients in selecting appropriate clothing items while maintaining a respectful and supportive atmosphere Organize and restock clothing donations to ensure easy access and appealing displays Maintain cleanliness and organization of the clothing pantry area, including sorting, folding and hanging garments Support community outreach efforts by promoting available services and resources Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks such as bending, standing and carrying. Assist with other program duties as assigned.
Schedule:
Monday, Wednesday, Friday:
10:00 AM - 3:00
PM Tuesday & Thursday:
12:00 PM - 5:00 PM Qualifications Previous experience working in a clothing pantry, retail or customer service environment preferred Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in sorting and displaying clothing items Compassionate communication skills to assist diverse community members effectively Experience with inventory management is a plus A positive attitude, teamwork mindset and dedication to serving others are essential Basic understanding of safety procedures related to handling donations and maintaining cleanliness. $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
