Herb Lusk Leadership Academy, a Christ-centered school serving students in Pre-K 3 through 3rd Grade in Chester, Pennsylvania, is seeking passionate and dedicated individuals to join our team. Current Openings Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, & 3rd Grade Teachers, and Food Service Coordinator We are seeking individuals who: Love the Lord and desire to serve Him through Christian education Love children and are committed to helping them reach their full potential Believe in Christian growth and academic excellence Can create a nurturing, engaging, and Christ-centered environment Work well with students, families, and colleagues Kindergarten-3rd Grade Teacher Qualifications Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Elementary Education, Early Childhood Education, Special Education, or a related field Additional information available upon request Breakfast and Lunch Program Coordinator Qualifications Food service experience preferred Current ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certification preferred (or ability to obtain) Knowledge of school food service procedures and regulations is a plus Required Clearances and Certifications FBI Criminal Background Clearance PA Child Abuse Clearance PA State Police Clearance Mandated Reporter Training Certificate Pediatric First Aid/CPR Certification (or willingness to obtain) Compensation Compensation commensurate with experience, education, and position requirements Part-time and full-time opportunities may be available depending on the position Volunteer Opportunities also welcomes individuals who would like to volunteer their time and talents in support of our students and staff.
Opportunities may include:
Answering phones and assisting in the school office Providing classroom support Assisting with breakfast and lunch service Supporting special events and school activities All volunteers must meet applicable clearance requirements.
