JOB SUMMARY

Early Learning Supervisor -County Program:
Education and Child Development Impact Team Classification:
Exempt/Full-Time Location:
Lancaster County, placement is varied. County classroom locations are Denver, Reamstown, Columbia, Mount Joy, Elizabethtown, Ephrata, East Petersburg, Lancaster, Paradise, Quarryville and Haltwood. This role supervises 2 classrooms from the previously listed locations. This is a new role in our organization, and the anticipated start date is 7/6/2026. The Early Learning Supervisor of County Sites oversees and supports staff to ensure adherence to early childhood service standards as a member of the Thrive to Five leadership team. The role provides coaching, training, and modeling to support curriculum implementation across all learning areas while addressing social-emotional development, trauma-informed practices, and self-regulation. Responsibilities include ensuring program compliance, maintaining curriculum integrity, fostering a positive teaching and learning culture, delivering quality customer service, and modeling CAP values through strong leadership.Duties & Responsibilities:
Program Compliance & Accountability Maintain key program data and ensure accurate reporting across student services, behavior, attendance, and enrollment. Coordinate specialized support for children with disabilities and Dual Language Learners. Conduct site visits and facilitate meetings to ensure ongoing program compliance. Address compliance issues and communicate licensing and funding considerations promptly with program leadership, regulatory agencies, and funders. Curriculum Fidelity and Social-Emotional Supports Provide nonevaluative coaching to strengthen instructional practices and curriculum implementation. Support effective teaching strategies, classroom management, and social-emotional learning through nurturing and inclusive environments. Review lesson plans for cultural responsiveness and differentiated instruction. Develop behavior support plans for classroom and home use. Family and Client Services Deliver high-quality customer service and resolve family concerns promptly. Support enrollment efforts, including collaborating with team members and monitoring staff progress in implementing enrollment processes to fill vacancies. Coordinate caseloads with leadership to ensure timely, integrated support for families, especially those in crisis. Implement and refine family engagement practices to strengthen meaningful participation. Coach and supervise Family Liaisons in ERSEA, wellness policies, family services, and community engagement practices. Staff Supports Use approved coaching framework to promote professional growth in teaching and learning in staff. Use approved assessment tools to strengthen teaching methods. Facilitate communication and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings. Oversee staffing needs, including scheduling, hiring, and interviewing. Address personnel related matters with promptness, professionalism, and respect in coordination with Human Resources.Leadership & Collaboration:
Collaborate with program leadership and staff to ensure program alignment and continuity. Assist in reviewing and refining program policies and procedures. Provide reflective supervision to promote staff growth and professional learning. Manage payroll processing and review timecards and mileage submissions. Maintain partnerships with schools and community organizations. Support reporting, grant applications, and continuous quality improvement projects. Performs other related duties as assigned.EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Required:
Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE), Social Work, or in a related field with at least 18 ECE credit hours. 3 years of experience in providing ECE services. Experience using adult learning principles and training adults. Experience with federal and state ECE regulations.Preferred:
