About HappyFeet Philly HappyFeet Philly is a youth development organization that uses soccer to promote physical activity, confidence, teamwork, and joy among young children. Our programs emphasize fun, movement, and social-emotional growth while creating a positive and inclusive environment for kids, families, and communities. Position Summary The Program Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring the smooth planning, coordination, and execution of HappyFeet Philly programs. This position supports day-to-day program operations, coaches, partner sites, and families, helping deliver high-quality, fun, and impactful experiences for children across Philadelphia. Key Responsibilities Program Operations Coordinate and manage weekly program schedules across multiple sites Serve as the primary point of contact for coaches, partner schools/centers, and families Ensure programs are properly staffed, supplied, and running smoothly Support program setup, breakdown, and on-site needs as required Coach & Staff Support Assist with coach onboarding, scheduling, and ongoing communication Support training sessions and professional development opportunities Conduct occasional site visits to observe programs and provide feedback Community & Partner Relations Build and maintain strong relationships with schools, childcare centers, and community partners Communicate program updates, schedules, and changes to stakeholders Represent HappyFeet Philly in a positive and professional manner Administrative & Data Support Maintain accurate program records, attendance, and reports Assist with registration, enrollment, and data tracking Support evaluation efforts to help measure program impact General Support Assist with special events, outreach efforts, and seasonal programs Contribute ideas to improve program quality and efficiency Perform other duties as assigned to support the organization's mission Qualifications Required Passion for youth development, sports, or community-based programming Strong organizational and time-management skills Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Comfort working with children, families, and diverse communities Availability for occasional evenings and weekends Preferred Experience in program coordination, education, youth sports, or nonprofit work Familiarity with soccer or youth physical activity programs Experience working with schools or early childhood settings Basic data tracking or administrative experience Physical & Work Requirements Ability to travel locally between program sites Ability to be active and on your feet during program hours Ability to lift and carry light equipment (cones, balls, goals, etc.)
