Job Title:
Program Manager Job Description The Program Manager will oversee a major program, with the potential to manage multiple programs in the future. This role supports new business and organic growth opportunities through effective communication across a matrix organization of technical subject matter experts. The Program Manager will act as a technical liaison with vendors and is responsible for all phases of the program budget. Responsibilities Oversee and manage a major program or multiple programs. Support new business and organic growth opportunities. Communicate effectively across a matrix organization of technical SMEs. Serve as a technical liaison with vendors. Manage all phases of the program budget. Prepare staffing plans, including skill and labor mix, to support contract operations. Monitor contract, subcontract, and funding. Prepare forecasts of program financial performance. Essential Skills Experience in program management, particularly in aerospace and satellite industries. Proficiency in scheduling and managing $50 million programs. Ability to communicate across a matrix organization. Experience with satellite technologies. Additional Skills & Qualifications Security clearance is a plus. Work Environment The role is based in an office and manufacturing environment. The organization specializes in miniaturized sensors and operates within the 'New Space' sector, focusing on innovative space-based and ground-based instrumentation. The work environment is dynamic and forward-thinking, involving cutting-edge projects like the DARPA-sponsored Ouija mission and the Kraken spacecraft. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Louisville, CO. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $120.00 - $140.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
