As a Child and Youth Specialist with the Utah National Guard Family Assistance Center team, you will serve as a vital link for service members and their families. You will help navigate all phases of mobilization by offering direct guidance, connecting families to essential resources, and building strong support networks across the community. If you are a compassionate communicator, a skilled coordinator, and someone passionate about making a real difference in the lives of military families, we want you on our team! What You'll Do Direct Family Consultation & Support Conduct intake and consultations with service members and their families to identify needs during mobilization. Provide direct referrals and resources for critical family support services, including financial assistance, medical benefits, legal issues, ID cards, and travel coordination. Program Outreach & Marketing Proactively market and promote Family Assistance Center support services to service members and families. Coordinate with the State Family Program Office and Public Affairs Officer to plan outreach efforts, community events, and public communications. Committee & Family Readiness Group (FRG) Collaboration Serve on key committees to support Family Readiness Groups. Assist with event scheduling, drafting communications (newsletters, bulletins, phone trees), and organizing community outreach initiatives. Documentation & Program Maintenance Maintain accurate intake sheets, case logs, and point-of-contact directories for support agencies. Draft administrative correspondence, program reports, and written materials to ensure smooth service delivery.

Minimum Requirements:

Driver's License:

Must possess a valid driver's license per

UCA 53-3-202

(1)(a).

Travel:

Willingness and ability to travel as needed to conduct outreach and attend events.

Working Conditions & Physical Demands Environment:

Primarily standard office setting with light everyday risks.

Physical Demands:
