Program Coordinator Location:
Rhode Island —
Remote Schedule:
Part-Time, approximately 20 hours/week
Hours:
Flexible schedule between 8:00 AM and 4:00
PM Assignment:
Contract, with potential for extension Position Overview We are seeking a Program Coordinator to support a healthcare initiative focused on improving access to treatment and services for individuals with rare hematologic conditions. The Program Coordinator will work closely with the Project Director and healthcare stakeholders to coordinate program activities, track timelines and deliverables, support meetings and communications, monitor progress, and assist with reporting and documentation. Key Responsibilities Coordinate day-to-day activities associated with healthcare program implementation. Support the Project Director with project planning, timelines, milestones, and deliverables. Coordinate meetings, agendas, follow-ups, and communication with internal and external stakeholders. Track project activities, action items, benchmarks, and progress toward program objectives. Assist with development of reports, presentations, documentation, and program updates. Collect, organize, and maintain program data and supporting documentation. Assist with monitoring outcomes, performance measures, and program success indicators. Coordinate with healthcare providers, community partners, agencies, and other stakeholders. Support initiatives designed to improve healthcare access and patient outcomes. Manage multiple priorities while maintaining accurate and timely documentation. Assist with identifying issues, coordinating follow-up, and escalating concerns when appropriate. Perform other program coordination and administrative duties as assigned. Required Qualifications BSN, LPN, or BPharm required. Bachelor's or master's degree in Public Health, Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Pharmacy, or a related field . At least 2 years of experience in public-health project management, healthcare quality improvement, healthcare administration, or a related healthcare field. Experience supporting healthcare, clinical, or public-health initiatives. Understanding of healthcare access and patient-service coordination. Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder-management skills. Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, deadlines, and deliverables. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project/program tracking tools. Strong documentation, reporting, and presentation skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Medicaid or government-funded healthcare programs. Experience with healthcare #tech1
