Primarily in-person initially, with opportunity for hybrid flexibility About the Position Women Who Care Ministries is seeking an energetic, compassionate, highly organized Program Coordinator & Community Outreach Navigator to help launch and grow RestoreHer , our 26-week life-skills workshop series designed to empower women and girls with practical tools, resources, relationships, confidence, and skills that support greater stability and self-sufficiency. Our goal is to grow RestoreHer to serve at least 50 women and girls , and we are looking for someone who is excited about helping us build that community. This is not a clinical or therapeutic position. It is a hands-on program coordination, community outreach, participant recruitment, and engagement position. The Program Coordinator & Community Outreach Navigator will coordinate the day-to-day implementation of RestoreHer—from community outreach and participant recruitment through enrollment, workshop participation, engagement, and completion of the 26-week series. A major responsibility of this position is finding and engaging the women and girls RestoreHer is designed to serve. The Coordinator will proactively identify and build relationships with organizations and locations where prospective participants already gather, including schools, youth programs, Boys & Girls Clubs, libraries, workforce-development programs, community and recreation centers, mentoring programs, housing and transitional programs, shelters, recovery and reentry organizations, faith communities, nonprofits, and other organizations serving women, girls, and families. We don't want to simply wait for participants to find RestoreHer. We want our Coordinator to help take RestoreHer into the community and build trusted pathways that bring women and girls into the program. Key Responsibilities Recruit and enroll women and girls for the RestoreHer 26-week life-skills workshop series. Help grow program participation toward a goal of at least 50 women and girls . Identify and cultivate schools, youth-serving organizations, workforce-development programs, libraries, community organizations, nonprofits, and other potential referral partners. Develop ongoing relationships with organizations that can become consistent sources of participant referrals. Introduce and present RestoreHer to prospective community partners and participants. Serve as a primary point of contact for participants from initial inquiry through program completion. Coordinate participant enrollment, orientation, workshop schedules, attendance, reminders, communication, and follow-up. Develop strategies to encourage consistent attendance and participant retention throughout the 26-week program. Coordinate workshops at WWCM and partner locations and ensure facilitators, materials, schedules, space, and other logistics are ready. Communicate with parents/guardians and partner organizations as appropriate when working with minor participants. Maintain accurate and confidential participant, attendance, referral, partnership, and program records. Track enrollment, attendance, retention, completion, referral sources, and community outreach activity. Provide regular updates to WWCM leadership regarding enrollment progress, partnership development, participant engagement, challenges, and opportunities for program growth. Who We're Looking For We are looking for someone who can build relationships, build participation, and keep a program organized. The ideal candidate is comfortable reaching out to a school, nonprofit, workforce-development program, community organization, or youth-serving organization; introducing RestoreHer; building a relationship; generating referrals; engaging prospective participants; and then helping those women and girls remain connected throughout the program. This position requires someone who is personable, compassionate, proactive, organized, dependable, persistent, and results-oriented . We need someone who sees an enrollment goal and immediately begins thinking: Where are the women and girls we need to reach, and how do I build relationships with the organizations already serving them? Qualifications Minimum 2-3 years of experience in program coordination, community outreach, youth or family programming, workforce development, nonprofit services, participant engagement, human services, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience. Strong organizational, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated ability to develop community relationships and partnerships. Experience engaging, recruiting, or coordinating program participants. Ability to manage multiple schedules, locations, relationships, and priorities. Ability to maintain confidentiality and appropriate professional boundaries. Ability to work independently while remaining accountable for program goals and outcomes. Ability to work respectfully and effectively with women and girls from diverse backgrounds and life circumstances. Experience working with women, girls, schools, youth-serving organizations, community programs, or life-skills programming is strongly preferred. Comfortable traveling locally to schools, community organizations, partner sites, workshops, meetings, and outreach activities as needed. Work Arrangement This position will begin primarily in person as the RestoreHer program launches and the Coordinator establishes relationships with participants, schools, community organizations, and referral partners. As the program becomes established and the Coordinator demonstrates the ability to independently manage responsibilities and meet program goals, some remote-work flexibility may be available for responsibilities that can effectively be performed off-site. Community outreach, partner meetings, workshops, participant activities, and other program responsibilities will require regular in-person availability.
