Volleyball Program Coordinator STATUS:

Director of Youth Programming SUMMARY:
EmBe Volleyball provides kids in 3rd through 6th grade an opportunity to learn the skills of the game in a recreational, non-competitive environment . We are looking for a passionate program coordinator to assist with the planning and implementation of our youth Volleyball program and clinics.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Ensure EmBe's brand, mission, vision, and values are reflected in all interactions. Actively embrace a culture of empowerment and an attitude of honesty and mutual respect. Maintain professionalism, take responsibility for actions, and mentor positive behaviors to children and coworkers. Coordinate and implement fall and winter volleyball programs, including marketing, registration, scheduling, and general operation of the program. Develop a coach guide for all volunteer coaches to ensure all participants are learning new skills. Create and manage league game schedules and attend all games to ensure a fair and fun environment. Recruit and manage all referees. Liaison with the USF Volleyball Program and organize winter league clinics. Conduct site visits of team practices to help coaches troubleshoot challenges and give recommendations. Plan and implement the end-of-season tournaments. Represent the EmBe and its programs at appropriate community, public, or professional functions. Work with other youth program staff as needed. Create and support an environment that teaches and empowers youth to learn and grow in their volleyball skills, teamwork and build confidence.
QUALIFICATIONS
Degree or previous experience in recreation, youth programming or a related field. Previous volleyball experience, required. Previous volunteer management experience, preferred. Strong organizational skills, ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Able to work evenings and weekends to attend practices and games.
