Program Specialist Lumos Youth Counseling Bluffdale, UT Job Details Full-time $18 - $22 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications High school diploma or GED Full Job Description Position Overview The Program Specialist plays a key role in supporting daily programming for adolescent clients, helping create a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment throughout the program day. Key Responsibilities Supervise and support clients throughout daily programming, ensuring a safe and structured environment Assist in facilitating groups, activities, and structured milieu time alongside the clinical team Monitor client behavior and well-being, reinforcing program expectations and therapeutic guidelines Support clients during transitions between activities, meals, and programming blocks Document observations and communicate relevant information to the clinical and treatment team Respond to client needs with patience, consistency, and appropriate de-escalation techniques Collaborate with therapists, program leadership, and other staff to support each client's treatment plan Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming program space Qualifications Experience working with adolescent or at-risk youth preferred High school diploma or equivalent required, some college or a degree in a related field preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to remain calm, patient, and consistent in a structured behavioral health setting Reliable, punctual, and able to work a consistent Monday through Friday daytime schedule Team-oriented with a genuine desire to make a meaningful impact in the lives of youth and families Compensation & Schedule $18 to $22 per hour, based on experience and education Consistent Monday through Friday daytime schedule, no nights or weekends Opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of youth and families
