Job Description
The HOPE Pantry Specialist will assist with daily Pantry operations including maintaining inventory, volunteer training and oversight, stocking donations, serving Pantry clients, supporting educational programming, tracking user data, and maintaining Pantry standards and guidelines. The Pantry Specialist will also develop Pantry programming aimed at reducing student food insecurity, as well as participate in conference and training opportunities related to Pantry management. This is a part-time (no benefits) position and is contingent on grant funding. Assist in daily Pantry operations. Assist in developing programming to address SUU student food insecurity. Assist with volunteer training and oversight. Assist in collecting and utilizing Pantry data. Strong computer skills, including practical knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Google Suite programs. Experience with data-tracking, reporting, and program assessment. Experience in event planning and management. Ability to work with varied groups and contribute to a climate of belonging. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Ability to lift 40 pounds. Ability to acquire a Utah Food Handlers Permit. Valid driver's license and ability to obtain Utah Division of Risk Management Driver's Certification. Other duties as assigned. This position is contingent on funding.
