Job Description
Location:
Woodleigh Chase by Erickson Senior Living Join our team as an Activities Coordinator (Intermissions Program Coordinator) to plan, develop and manage the overall operation of the Intermissions community-based social activity programs.
Compensation:
Starting at $65k
•Max $73k, Annual Salary includes annual merit and bonus, based on performance!

How you will make an impact Partnering with Resident Life and Health Services to facilitate the effective delivery of service to participants and assessment of program outcomes Managing the internal marketing of the Intermissions Program to residents, families, and staff Coordinating acceptance of participants into the program and discontinuation of services as needed. Facilitating the exchange of information with residents' families, caregivers, staff, and support systems Educating staff and volunteers regarding residents' abilities, preferences, and program interventions Scheduling and documenting in-service programs for staff and volunteers What you will need Minimum 3 years' experience in a geriatric setting required Creative & Expressive Arts background (art, dance movement, music, drama, poetry) is preferred Experience with the elderly, and demonstrated understanding of the dementia process and its impact on a person's ability to benefit from social activity-based programming Please note that specific state regulations and requirements may be applicable.
