Job Description

Overview Join Virginia Housing and help make a difference as a Sr. Program Officer. This important role will be responsible for administering all aspects of program implementation, financial reporting, and budgeting for assigned programmatic funds. The role oversees contract awards, program monitoring, construction activities, and compliance with the HUD 811 Program regulatory requirements. The incumbent will manage a portfolio of complex properties, ensuring accurate financial reporting, budgeting, and adherence to program design and operational standards. To be successful in this role you must possess: Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience. Several years of experience in a property management or housing compliance role. Ability to navigate software systems and cloud-based applications Must be able to inspect the properties by navigating the buildings, stairways and grounds. Demonstrated organization and prioritization skills and proven attention to detail are essential Innovative problem-solving, negotiation and written & oral communication skills. Hiring Range:
$82,000 - $111,000 A background and MVR check will be performed as a condition of employment. A Conflict-of-Interest Act Disclosure form and Secondary Employment Disclosure form will need to be completed as a condition of employment. Virginia Housing requires associates to live and work within the Commonwealth of Virginia.
