Job Overview We are seeking a Program Administration Specialist I for a 6-month contract assignment. This role provides essential administrative and program coordination support to ensure the smooth operational efficiency of our IT initiatives. It is an excellent opportunity to work within a dynamic public health IT environment in the heart of downtown Richmond. Key Responsibilities Coordinate and track day-to-day administrative operations within the IT department. Manage, organize, and maintain digital documentation, program files, and tracking spreadsheets. Serve as a point of contact for internal staff, handling inquiries and scheduling needs. Assist with procurement tracking, invoicing routing, or onboarding documentation as required. Ensure departmental compliance with standard operating procedures and agency guidelines. Qualifications & Requirements Proven experience in administrative support, program tracking, or an office coordination role (IT environment experience is a plus but not required). Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams). Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a professional environment.
