Job Description

Required Qualifications Mandatory:
Demonstrated experience coordinating or supporting actual federal or state government projects/programs . Candidates must be able to clearly describe their experience with government program/project delivery. Commercial project experience alone, including work for companies that serve government clients, does not satisfy this requirement. 4+ years of project or program coordination experience, including government-sector experience. U.S. Citizen or Green Card Holder. Ability to pass an FBI background check. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills. Comfortable serving as the primary day-to-day contact for government stakeholders. Highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented. Strong follow-up skills with the ability to drive open items to completion. Excellent documentation and organizational skills. Experience with Confluence, Jira, Google Workspace, and Microsoft Office . Preferred Qualifications PMP certification. Existing FBI clearance. Experience working with NSF, NCSES, DOE, or DoD . Proposal or RFP coordination experience. Familiarity with SBIR/STTR or BAA processes. East Coast location, particularly Virginia. Experience supporting in-person government agency meetings. Sufficient technical literacy to understand engineering discussions without requiring extensive translation. Ideal Candidate Profile The ideal candidate is a Government/Federal Program Coordinator or Project Coordinator who has hands-on experience supporting government program delivery, communicates exceptionally well, stays ahead of deadlines, and is comfortable interacting directly with federal agency personnel.
Pay:
$40.00 - $50.00 per hour
