Join the Issaquah Parks & Community Services team as a Basketball Site Lead this Fall/Winter! In this leadership role, you'll play a key role in the organization, supervision, and day-of success of our Youth Basketball League at a designated satellite location. As the lead staff member onsite, you'll ensure operations run smoothly, games start on time, coaches and staff receive support and guidance, provide mentorship for refs, and ensure players and families enjoy a positive, welcoming game-day experience. The selected candidates will primarily work on Saturdays from late November 2026 through mid-March 2027. Additional hours may be available upon request based on program needs. Ensure all Issaquah Parks & Community Services and Issaquah School District rules and policies are adhered to. Must be at least 18 years old. Must be able to pass a background check to work with children. Ability to work independently. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coaches, parents, volunteers, and coworkers. Ability to lead referees, coaches and other staff assigned to your site. Ability to assist in instructional tasks. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing Ability to work weekends, or other irregular hours as necessary. MUST HAVE or ability to obtain CPR and AED Certifications. Familiarity with basketball and its rules, particularly for those working with older youths. Prefer applicants with enthusiasm for sports, basketball knowledge, and confidence in working with youth and their families.
