Job Description
Ambitions of Washington is now hiring for a Program Coordinator in our Accendo location! Join our team to make a difference in the lives of others? The Program Coordinator is directly responsible for the implementation of instruction and support services in compliance with Washington State laws and regulations, as well as within DDA and Ambitions policies. Primary duties include coordinating and scheduling client services, DSP training and scheduling, maintaining and updating client and employee records, and providing daily onsite supervision of client support services. The Program Coordinator reports to the Program Manager and may act in the absence of the Program Manager. This position may require occasional response to emergency and other care needs on a day to day and on-call basis. Qualifications Minimum of 4 continuous years of Ambitions' Direct Support Professional experience, AND completion of Ambitions' Direct Support Professional training curriculum OR Bachelor's Degree or higher in a Human Services Field, or an RN licensed to practice in WA state OR Bachelor's Degree or higher in a non-human services field, AND at least 2 years of continuous social service experience. Cleared DDA required BCCU Criminal Background Check. Must possess valid state driver's license, auto and auto liability insurance and be willing to transport clients. Driving record must be clean with no more than 3 minor citations (speed/seatbelt/faulty equipment/etc.) or 1 at fault and 1 minor citation in the last 3 years. Be at least 21 years or older at time of employment. Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds unaided. Included but not limited to lifting, transferring and re-positioning clients. You are required to be on-call and carry cell phone on a rotation with the other managers. You may be required to travel for business related activities or training. This may include overnight stays.
