About the Opportunity Our customer is seeking an experienced Training Program Coordinator to support the development and execution of a rapidly growing workforce training program within a manufacturing environment. This role will be instrumental in building and managing a progressive workforce development model designed to support significant organizational growth and employee advancement. This is an exciting opportunity for a training professional who thrives in a hands-on manufacturing setting and has experience developing technical training programs, tracking employee progression, and partnering with instructors to build skilled workforces. Key Responsibilities Develop, coordinate, and maintain technical training programs and curricula for manufacturing employees Support the implementation and continuous improvement of a progressive workforce development model Create and maintain employee skills matrices and training progression plans Track employee training completion, certifications, assessments, and developmental milestones Coordinate with instructors to ensure required practical and written evaluations are completed within established timelines Assist in designing and enhancing onboarding programs for new employees Develop training materials, guides, job aids, and instructional content Monitor and analyze training metrics and performance data to assess program effectiveness Conduct employee training sessions as needed Verify skill requirements and competencies for manufacturing positions Partner with supervisors, instructors, HR, and operations leaders to identify workforce development needs Support the transition of training tracking processes from Excel to Workday Establish and maintain relationships with external workforce development partners and training providers Ensure consistent and effective delivery of training programs across departments Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Education, Human Resources, Organizational Development, Manufacturing, or a related field Experience coordinating or managing technical training programs within a manufacturing environment Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, workflows, procedures, and training requirements Experience developing and tracking progressive training programs, employee development plans, or skills progression models Experience supporting high-volume training initiatives in a growing workforce environment Experience working closely with instructors, supervisors, and production teams Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including tracking, reporting, and data analysis Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple training initiatives simultaneously Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate will be someone who: Understands the realities of a manufacturing shop floor environment Has developed technical training programs, not solely classroom or corporate training Can effectively track and manage training progression for large employee populations Enjoys building processes and helping shape new workforce development initiatives Is comfortable interacting with employees, instructors, leadership, and external partners Has experience supporting significant organizational growth and workforce expansion Why Join?
