Job Description

Waste Management (WM) seeks a Sr Environmental Project Manager to lead complex waste management and remediation projects across industrial, commercial, and municipal clients. This role oversees project scoping, permitting, budgeting, and execution while ensuring full compliance with environmental regulations and WM safety standards. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage vendors and subcontractors, analyze environmental data, and prepare technical reports. The ideal candidate brings strong regulatory knowledge, client management skills, and a proven record delivering large environmental projects on time and on budget. Responsibilities Lead planning and execution of complex environmental and waste management projects from scoping through closeout. Ensure full compliance with federal, state, and local environmental and safety regulations. Develop project budgets, schedules, and resource plans and track performance against targets. Coordinate cross-functional teams, subcontractors, and vendors to meet project milestones. Conduct or oversee environmental assessments, sampling, and data analysis. Prepare technical reports, proposals, and regulatory documentation. Serve as primary client contact, managing expectations and building long-term relationships. Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies to protect safety, budget, and schedule. Support business development through scope development, estimates, and input to bids. Promote a strong culture of safety, integrity, and inclusion on all project sites.
