Pride Health is hiring a Medical Lab Scientist II (Generalist - Blood Bank) to support our client's medical facility in following cities, Fairhope, AL. This is a 3-month assignment and it's a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Medical Lab Scientist II to join a busy 200-bed hospital laboratory in Fairhope, Alabama. This is an excellent opportunity for a laboratory professional with strong Generalist experience and a solid Blood Bank background to work in a collaborative Core Laboratory environment with the potential for permanent employment.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine and complex laboratory testing as a Generalist.

Perform Blood Bank testing, including antibody identification and antigen typing.

Analyze and report laboratory results accurately and efficiently.

Maintain quality control and comply with laboratory policies and procedures.

Operate and maintain laboratory instrumentation.

Ensure compliance with CLIA, CAP, and other applicable regulatory standards.

Collaborate with laboratory staff and healthcare providers to support quality patient care.

Maintain accurate documentation and laboratory records.

Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in

MLS, CLS, MT

Generalist laboratory experience.

Blood Bank experience, including antibody identification and antigen typing.

$35 - $40 (Hourly)
