This is a part-time position to start, with approximately 10-15 hours per week and the potential to grow to twice that as the role expands. For the first few months, you will work closely with the owners to learn our projects, systems, clients, crew, and standards. As you become comfortable in the role, you will gradually take on more responsibility for day-to-day project coordination, with the goal of eventually taking over much of the day-to-day coordination while continuing to work closely with the ownership team. What You'll Do You will help guide projects from the beginning of construction through completion, working closely with our clients, field crew, vendors, office team and company owners.

Responsibilities will include:

Serving as a primary point of contact for clients during active construction Communicating clearly, professionally, kindly, and proactively with clients Coordinating schedules, materials, deliveries, subcontractors, and jobsite logistics Visiting active jobsites to monitor progress, organization, and quality Reviewing plans and ensuring the work being built reflects the approved design and scope Maintaining high standards for craftsmanship, details, cleanliness, and overall presentation Communicating clearly with the field crew and helping resolve questions or issues as they arise Identifying potential problems early and helping develop practical solutions Keeping projects organized and on track with established scope, schedule, and cost targets Documenting project progress, decisions, changes, and client communication Helping coordinate change requests and ensuring work outside the approved scope is properly addressed Participating in client meetings, site walks, and project closeouts You will not be responsible for estimating, setting project pricing, budgeting, payroll, or making company financial decisions. Who We're Looking For We are looking for someone who is extremely dependable, organized, communicative, and thoughtful . You don't need to be a landscape architect or designer, but you do need to understand landscape construction and have a genuine interest in how things are built.

The right person will:

Have strong practical knowledge of landscape construction, hardscape, irrigation, planting, or related construction Be able to read and understand plans and translate them into real-world construction Have exceptionally strong communication skills Be comfortable and confident working directly with clients Be kind, patient, and professional even and especially when dealing with difficult situations Communicate confidently and respectfully with field crews while maintaining clear expectations and a collaborative working relationship Have a high standard for craftsmanship and attention to detail Notice when something isn't right and be willing to speak up Be proactive rather than waiting to be told what to do Be highly organized and capable of keeping track of many moving pieces Be comfortable taking ownership and following things through to completion Understand that the details of the client experience matter just as much as the finished landscape We are a small, high-end boutique landscape design and installation company , and our clients expect a thoughtful, professional, highly communicative experience. Growth & Training This position will begin with approximately 10-15 hours per week , with the potential to grow to twice that as responsibilities increase. Initially, you will shadow the owner and learn how we manage projects, communicate with clients, work with our crew, and maintain our standards . As you become familiar with our way of working, you will gradually take on more responsibility for coordinating projects and installations, with the goal of eventually taking over much of the day-to-day coordination as one of the owners steps back from that role. You will continue to work closely alongside the other owner and our field leadership. We are looking for someone who is naturally intuitive, observant, and proactive. Logistical Details Part-Time :

This position will begin at approximately 10-15 hours per week, with the potential to grow to 20+ hours per week as the role develops and the needs of the company grow. We can be somewhat flexible with the schedule and work around your other commitments as able. That said, mornings are particularly important for this position, as that is often when we are communicating with crews, coordinating projects, and addressing the needs of active jobs.

Compensation:

$28-$30/hour to start, depending on experience, with opportunities for increased compensation as the role and responsibilities grow.
