full-time Company Description Local Language is a hybrid art consulting and fabrication studio that curates and creates art collections that tell the unique story of each project. From concept to installation, Local Language produces sculptural designs, curated collections, and architectural installations for commercial properties nationwide. The studio manages the full process from ideation and bespoke art fabrication to project management and installation. Role Description The Project Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role in Oakland, CA. This role supports the planning and execution of projects, coordinating production approvals, and communication between internal teams, external vendors, and clients. Day-to-day responsibilities include tracking project milestones, coordinating design sample approvals, maintaining project documentation, and coordinating logistics. The Project Coordinator assists with sourcing materials, pushing orders into production, and ensuring that quality standards and client requirements are met. This role also contributes to problem-solving on active projects and helps maintain efficient studio operations. Qualifications Project coordination and organizational skills, including scheduling, timeline management, and task tracking. Experience with client communication, stakeholder coordination, and clear, professional correspondence. Familiarity with art fabrication, design, or creative production processes, ideally within an art, architecture, or fabrication studio environment. Competence with basic project management and office software (e.g., spreadsheets, shared calendars, project tracking tools). Strong attention to detail, ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and follow-through on deadlines. Comfort working in a hands-on, fast paced studio environment Ability to collaborate in a diverse, creative team environment and adapt to evolving project needs.
