Summary We're partnering with a well-established, employee-owned mechanical contractor that's expanding its operations in the Bakersfield area and looking to add a Project Manager to support upcoming commercial construction projects. This opportunity offers the chance to work on large-scale healthcare, hospitality, and commercial projects, with a strong pipeline of work planned over the next five years. We're considering candidates at various project management experience levels who have a background in commercial HVAC or plumbing construction. Key Responsibilities Manage commercial HVAC and/or plumbing projects from preconstruction through closeout Oversee project budgets, forecasting, schedules, and cost control Coordinate with general contractors, owners, subcontractors, vendors, and field teams Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, procurement, and contract administration Review construction drawings, specifications, and project scopes Work closely with Superintendents and field teams to maintain project schedules and quality standards Monitor material deliveries, manpower requirements, and project milestones Participate in project meetings and maintain strong relationships with clients and project stakeholders Support quality control, inspections, and project closeout Requirements Commercial HVAC or plumbing construction experience required Project management experience with a mechanical contractor or specialty subcontractor Experience managing project budgets, schedules, procurement, and change orders Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, specifications, and contracts Healthcare, hospital, casino, or other large-scale commercial project experience preferred Experience with
