While we are a smaller team, we are currently working on large, complex, and high-profile projects throughout the Greater Los Angeles area. Team members have the opportunity to take on meaningful responsibility, work closely with company leadership, and grow alongside the business as we continue to expand. We pride ourselves on delivering a boutique, white-glove experience from design and planning through installation, commissioning, and final project closeout. Our projects regularly involve coordination with homeowners, estate managers, builders, architects, interior designers, electricians, vendors, subcontractors, and other trades. We maintain a hands-on culture built around professionalism, accountability, communication, technical quality, and follow-through. For the right person, there is significant room for advancement. We are continuing to build our team, systems, and long-term structure, and we want people who are interested in growing with the company rather than simply filling a position. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, comfortable managing multiple active projects, and able to communicate professionally and confidently in both the field and client-facing environments. Direct experience in AV, low voltage, networking, automation, electrical, security, technology integration, or luxury construction is a major advantage, but it is not the only path to success in this role. We are also interested in experienced Project Managers from related trades or construction environments who are quick learners, technically curious, strong communicators, and comfortable adapting to fast-moving projects with changing conditions and multiple stakeholders. You do not need to be a programmer or engineer. You do, however, need to be willing and able to develop a strong working understanding of the systems, terminology, project requirements, and technical conversations happening around you. A Candidate Who Stands Out A strong candidate will bring a combination of project-management ability, leadership, technical aptitude, professionalism, and client-facing communication skills . Experience in any of the following areas will stand out: AV or low-voltage project management Electrical or construction project management Smart-home or home automation systems Residential or commercial technology integration Networking and structured cabling Lighting control and automated shading Surveillance and access control Luxury residential construction Managing technicians, subcontractors, vendors, materials, and project schedules Reading architectural, electrical, AV, or low-voltage drawings D-Tools Experience with platforms such as Crestron, Lutron, Savant, Control4, Ubiquiti, Sonos, surveillance systems, access control systems, or similar technologies is highly desirable. We are also open to an experienced Lead Technician, Foreman, Project Coordinator, Systems Designer, or similar industry professional who has the organization, communication skills, and leadership ability to transition successfully into a Project Manager role. What Success Looks Like The right person will be able to: Take ownership of projects from kickoff through completion Represent NetEx AV professionally in high-end client environments Communicate clearly with clients, technicians, builders, designers, vendors, and subcontractors Keep schedules, materials, documentation, and outstanding items organized Understand technical information well enough to communicate project expectations effectively Anticipate issues before they become larger problems Follow through until open items are actually resolved Stay composed and organized in a fast-paced, evolving environment Build trust with both clients and the field team Ultimately, we are looking for someone who combines strong project-management fundamentals with professionalism, adaptability, technical aptitude, ownership, and the ability to build lasting client relationships.
