Job Description
Job Summary A temp-to-hire Project Coordinator opportunity is available in Fontana, CA, supporting fire life safety testing, inspection reporting, scheduling, and compliance documentation within an industrial facilities and infrastructure environment. This role is ideal for an organized administrative or service coordination professional who enjoys fast-paced work, problem-solving, and keeping critical operations on track. The Project Coordinator will help manage NFPA inspection report workflows, coordinate testing schedules, support customer accounts, and assist the service department during high-priority situations. Key Responsibilities
- Manage NFPA 72 and NFPA 25 inspection reports, including uploading documentation to the Compliance Engine platform with accuracy and timely turnaround.
- Monitor regulatory timelines, including 30-day good faith periods and 60-day deficiency correction deadlines.
- Coordinate customer testing schedules across multiple locations and relay project details to internal testing teams.
- Maintain customer records and account information for multi-site customers, including schools, military accounts, and municipalities.
- Work with the monitoring company to help oversee fire alarm system activity across assigned customer accounts.
- Support the service department in a rapid-response environment when customers call during system failures, service needs, or emergency situations. Compensation and Benefits

Fontana, CA. Required Qualifications and Skills- Manage inspection report handling, compliance uploads, and deadline tracking for NFPA-related documentation.
- Coordinate testing schedules, customer communication, and internal service team updates.
- Support fire alarm monitoring activity, customer account oversight, and service department response needs.
- Maintain organized files, accurate documentation, and updated customer information across multiple systems.
- Administrative, clerical, service coordination, dispatching, or scheduling experience preferred.
- 1 to 2 years of professional experience in a related administrative, service, or coordination role.
- Strong multitasking ability in a fast-paced service department or high-volume customer support environment.
- High attention to detail with accurate data entry, documentation, file navigation, and report handling skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to research information, find answers independently, and keep work moving.
- Comfortable using Excel, Adobe, Microsoft Teams, and multiple software platforms.
- General comfort navigating customer records, reporting systems, compliance platforms, and service-related tools. Preferred Qualifications
- 1 to 2 years of NFPA test and inspect experience.
- Experience with Honeywell CLSS and Compliance Engine.
- Dispatching or scheduling experience in plumbing, utilities, yard service, construction services, or another high-volume service industry.
- Familiarity with fire life safety workflows, fire alarm systems, inspection reporting, or compliance documentation.
- Experience supporting accounts such as schools, municipalities, military facilities, or other multi-site customers.
