Hazard Companies is seeking a Senior Project Manager with 7+ years of experience in heavy highway construction. Candidate will contribute to a variety of projects including but not limited to mass excavation/remedial work/structure excavation & backfill, AC paving, underground, and concrete structures. site development, military, and DOT(Caltrans). Responsibilities:

• Assist Superintendents in progress billing, track submittals, RFIs, and contract change orders.
• Job cost tracking/updates.
• Coordinate with Subcontractors on a variety of projects.
• Serving as a point of contact for teams when multiple units are assigned to the same project to ensure team actions remain in synergy
• Understand contract documents (plans, specifications, contracts, etc.)
• Adjusting schedules and targets on the project as needs or financing for the project change.

Requirements:

• Hard-working individual who has demonstrated leadership skills and who thrives in a teamwork environment.
• The individual must be highly organized and able to communicate well with others.
• Minimum of a bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering.
• The ideal candidate must be proactive, analytical, an innovative team player and able to meet established deadlines. Hard Dollar and Primavera P6 scheduling software experience are a plus.
• Excellent writing, presentation and computer skills to include the above as well as Microsoft and Vista by Viewpoint a plus.
• Willingness to be flexible and occasionally work long hours.
