CHIEF OBJECTIVES OF THIS POSITION
The Experiential Design & Production Lead Project Manager's role is to bridge the gap between creative vision and real-world execution. This role is responsible for translating client-provided concepts, renders, and experiential intent into fully realized environments—owning the development of design, technical documentation, budgets, and execution plans. You will lead projects from concept interpretation through fabrication and installation, ensuring that creative intent is preserved while delivering practical, cost-effective, and high-quality solutions. This is a cross-functional leadership role that sits at the intersection of creative, technical production, and project management.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The Project Manager's core responsibilities include all tasks accountable for the successful execution of their project scope. This includes, but is not limited to, spearheading communication between internal and external stakeholders, partnering with Build Leads to design and price project proposals, assisting in managing crew, attending site visits, creating pull sheets, and profit & loss reporting by project. Keys to success include maintaining a positive attitude that promotes teamwork within the Company and creates a favorable image of the Company for clients. While the pace of the work is faster than average, quality is never compromised. The Project Manager will mainly work in the office and on client sites, with opportunities to work remotely occasionally.Reports to:

CREATIVES SERVICES PRODUCTION
Design Translation & Development Interpret client concepts, renderings, and experiential direction into fully developed design packages Translate creative intent into renderings, layouts, and fabrication-ready documentation Ensure all design outputs align with brand standards, spatial requirements, and experiential objectives Attend site visits with customers to develop floor plans and finalize build details Technical Design & Build Documentation Develop winning Projects that align with the client's objectives and creative vision Develop and oversee build drawings, plans, and technical specifications in collaboration with internal and external teams Define materials, finishes, and structural approaches that align with both creative vision and production feasibility Partner with fabricators and technical teams to ensure accuracy, safety, and executional integrity Budgeting & Cost Management Build and manage project budgets based on design intent, scope, and production requirements Create comprehensive quotes that reflect the outcomes narrative Conduct value engineering to align creative concepts with client budgets while maintaining quality and impact Source materials, vendors, and solutions with a strong understanding of cost implications Maximize the profitability of each project without sacrificing the primary goal of delivering a World-Class customer experience Production Planning & Execution Develop and lead the end-to-end execution plan, including timelines, fabrication schedules, logistics, and installation strategy Oversee RFP development, vendor scoping, and bid evaluation Ensure seamless transition from design through fabrication, installation, and strike Project Management & Delivery Own project timelines, deliverables, and communication across all phases Coordinate cross-functional teams, including creative, production, technical, and external vendors Proactively identify risks and implement solutions to maintain schedule, budget, and quality Quality Control & Asset Oversight Review and approve design files, print assets, and production outputs Oversee print production from file preparation through proofing and final delivery Ensure all deliverables meet creative standards and executional expectations Client & Stakeholder Collaboration Support client presentations by clearly communicating design development and execution approach Serve as a key point of contact for aligning creative intent with production realities Maintain strong relationships with vendors and partners to ensure consistent delivery standards Provide an exemplary experience for our customers, vendors, and all stakeholdersREPORTING
Ensure each project has secured a signed quote or contract, been properly invoiced, and paid per the approved payment terms. Ensure all expenses related to each job are accurately reported and correctly reconciled promptly. Ensure all builds and deliverables are on time and within budget Inform your supervisor of potential problems or opportunities to improve the project Provide communication with fast response times to the client and other stakeholdersJOB CHARACTERISTICS
The Creative Services' Project Manager is held accountable for results across multiple, simultaneous projects. Expert-level client-facing "Agency-Style" communication. Directive leadership to assure business results are achieved. Authoritative, quick decision-making within the defined span of control. Based on accepted quality standards, policies, and procedures, it is also important to train others to make correct decisions. Delegation of details as necessary, with follow-up on timeliness and quality to ensure quality standards are met. Creative problem-solving and innovation across varied areas of scenic, prop, and print fabrication. The ability to efficiently prioritize in a deadline-driven industry and fast-paced environment. Rapport and relationship building with a strategic focus on achieving results.JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) 5+ years of relevant experience in experiential marketing, live event production, environmental design, or related field. Preference is given to candidates with a demonstrated knowledge of Scenic Carpentry, Scenic Painting, Printing, and Metalwork, as it relates to the production of elements for an event. Proven ability to translate creative concepts into executable plans, budgets, and built environments Strong understanding of fabrication processes, materials, and technical production workflows Experience developing and managing project budgets and timelines Expert-level written and verbal communication skills Polished, professional demeanor; projects confidence and enthusiasm for the business Proven success in a client-facing capacity Demonstrated history of establishing and maintaining effective working relationships across a diverse cross-functional team Must be proactive with the ability to work both independently and with multiple teams Organized with the ability to prioritize and manage time efficiently with close attention to detail Ability to work on strict deadlines and in high-pressure situations Ability to balance creative integrity with operational and financial constraints A working knowledge of: Microsoft or Google Office Suite Flex Rental Solutions (bonus) Basic drafting software (SketchUp, Vectorworks, Illustrator, CAD) We have designed & built our culture around a set of core values.
