From concept through construction, our integrated team delivers high-quality residential projects with an emphasis on craftsmanship, collaboration, and exceptional client service. Position Summary The Design-Build Project Manager oversees residential landscape projects from initial client consultation through construction completion and project closeout. This client-facing role is responsible for guiding projects through design development, estimating, scheduling, budgeting, and construction while ensuring an exceptional customer experience throughout the project lifecycle. The ideal candidate has experience managing high-end residential landscape or outdoor construction projects and enjoys balancing client relationships with field operations.
Reports To:
Construction Director Key ResponsibilitiesClient & Pre-Construction Meet with prospective clients to understand project goals, scope, budget, and vision. Develop conceptual landscape solutions and guide clients through the design process. Prepare project estimates, proposals, and contracts. Coordinate project scheduling with internal teams following project approval. Construction & Project Management Manage multiple residential landscape construction projects from pre-construction through completion. Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and production timelines. Coordinate permits, inspections, and required project documentation. Procure materials and coordinate deliveries with vendors and suppliers. Manage installation crews, subcontractors, and field operations. Conduct routine jobsite visits to ensure quality, safety, and adherence to project plans. Resolve field issues, manage change orders, and maintain project profitability. Provide clients with regular project updates and serve as the primary point of contact throughout construction. Complete project closeout, final walkthroughs, punch lists, and client handoff. Team Collaboration Partner closely with design, estimating, operations, and field teams to ensure seamless project execution. Maintain accurate project documentation and communicate project status, budgets, and schedules to leadership. QualificationsRequired 5+ years of experience managing residential landscape, design-build, or residential construction projects. Proven experience overseeing multiple projects simultaneously. Strong understanding of residential construction methods and project sequencing. Experience leading installation crews and coordinating subcontractors. Ability to read and interpret landscape plans and construction drawings. Strong estimating, budgeting, scheduling, and cost management skills. Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with project management or estimating software is a plus. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Preferred Experience in high-end residential landscape construction. Familiarity with irrigation, drainage, hardscape, lighting, planting, and outdoor living installations. Bilingual in English and Spanish. #

$85,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
