Job Description
As a Drafter and Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful completion of residential kitchen and bathroom remodeling projects. This position requires a background in home remodeling or construction, meticulous attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service. Job Responsibilities:
Meet with customers to take accurate field measurements for cabinet layouts for home remodeling projects Create detailed CAD drawings and 3D models of home remodeling projects Ensure drawings and models meet project specifications and accurate deliverables to customers Provide accurate cut lists, drawings and material specifications to shop manager Collaborate closely with sales, design, fabrication, and installation teams to ensure project specifications are met and client expectations are exceeded Coordinate and oversee all aspects of residential kitchen and bathroom remodeling projects, from inception to final inspection Manage project schedules and allocate resources effectively to ensure timely project completion and customer satisfaction Serve as the primary point of contact for team members, vendors, subcontractors, and clients, fostering transparent and positive communication throughout the project lifecycle Procure necessary materials and monitor delivery schedules to facilitate smooth project progression Schedule and supervise subcontractors to adhere to project timelines Responsible for creating, managing, and approving change orders based on customer change requests Other projects and tasks assigned as neededQualifications and Skills:
3-5 years of experience in the residential construction and remodeling industry with emphasis on cabinet building and design experience Strong understanding of cabinetry construction methods, materials, and hardware Proven track record as a drafter and project manager in residential remodeling or construction Strong leadership, team management, and communication skills Self-motivated with exceptional organizational abilities Familiarity with project management software; Contractor Foreman experience is advantageous Proficiency in drafting software is required; Mozaik experience preferred Experience with Microsoft Office Suite Ability to fulfill physical requirements of the job, including prolonged standing, kneeling, and lifting, at project sitesEducation and Requirements:
High School Diploma - or the equivalent (for example, GED) Reliable vehicle to travel between job sitesWork Hours and Benefits:
