Our work includes large residential remodels, new custom homes, historical renovations, and specialty commercial projects. Led by President Jordan Guthrie, the firm provides full preconstruction services, including preliminary budget estimates, value engineering, and subcontractor selection. About the Role Stroub Construction is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support our high end custom residential projects through all phases of construction. Working under the direction of the Project Manager, you will handle construction administration, including job costing, contract administration, change order pricing, submittals, and subcontractor relations. What You Will Do... Assist the Project Manager in preparing and tracking project schedules and budgets Prepare change order pricing, project reports, and documentation Track project billing and job costing, and create monthly progress reports Manage submittals and project document control Attend project meetings with clients, architects, and subcontractors Assist field personnel and maintain site communication with subcontractors Support project closeout, including punch lists, turnover documentation, owner manuals, and the warranty log Required Minimum 5 years of experience in construction project management or field engineering with a general contractor Experience on high end custom residential projects Ability to read construction drawings and specifications Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint, plus Procore, Buildertrend, Smartsheet, FileMaker Pro, Google Workspace, Sage, and Bluebeam Valid California driver's license with a clean driving record Preferred Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field Experience on large residential remodels, new custom homes, or historical renovations
