Job Description

Job Summary:
The Associate Project Manager supports the planning, coordination, and execution of civil construction projects, for electric utility installations. This role works closely with the project management team, field staff, subcontractors, and clients to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and eager to grow within the industry. Duties and Responsibilities Support and execute project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements. Identify resource needs based on project assignments Manage schedules, cost, and customer demands Review deliverables prepared by team before passing to client or management personnel. Effectively apply project management methods to execute project schedules Develop and execute risk management plans thereby minimizing company exposure and risk on projects. Ensure project documents are accurate, complete, current, and stored appropriately.
Project Accounting Cost Management:
Gather daily reports from field employees, electronically track production data using Excel, analyze data and generate cost reports. Track and report labor hours and expenses on a weekly basis. Manage project budget, Review scope changes, develop and track financial change orders Determine appropriate revenue recognition, ensures timely and accurate invoicing, and monitors receivables for project. Follow up with clients, when necessary, regarding unpaid invoices. Analyze project profitability, revenue, margins, bill rates and utilization.
Key Responsibilities:
Print job folders with all project documents. Creating and updating schedules for each project with input from PM, GF, and Foremen. Schedule and coordinate subcontractors and/or extra equipment required for work. Arrange and coordinate traffic control for field crews. Update and maintain system databases (Monday.com) on a daily basis. Cost and revenue tracking on a weekly basis. Generate invoices and submit change orders to client. Support client reporting needs on a daily/weekly basis. Tracking USA tickets for program. Renew as needed. Attend meetings to local client meetings and job walkdowns (in person or Teams). Create civil as-built from foremen provided redlines. Compile as-built package deliverables.
Qualifications:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Project); experience with Microsoft Office, or similar scheduling software is a plus. Project management experience is a plus. Self motivated and a desire to learn new processes and concepts. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Experience with database and project management tools, such as Monday.com is a plus
Compensation:
Competitive salary based on experience, benefits package, training and career development opportunities.
Pay:
$44.00 - $55.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
