Position Summary
YOU MUST HAVE
3+ years of HVAC PM experience. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Project Manager to join our team. The Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing projects from start to finish while ensuring they are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with company standards and customer expectations. This position requires strong leadership, organization, communication, and problem-solving skills. The successful candidate will work closely with customers, field personnel, subcontractors, vendors, and internal departments to keep projects moving efficiently and successfully. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Manage assigned projects from initial planning through completion and closeout. Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and forecasts. Monitor project costs, labor, materials, and overall financial performance. Coordinate manpower, materials, equipment, subcontractors, and other project resources. Review project plans, specifications, contracts, scopes of work, and other project documentation. Identify potential project risks, delays, or cost concerns and proactively develop solutions. Maintain regular communication with customers, general contractors, field leadership, vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams. Conduct and/or participate in project meetings and provide timely project updates. Manage change orders, RFIs, submittals, documentation, and other project-related correspondence. Ensure projects comply with company safety policies, quality standards, contractual requirements, and applicable regulations. Work closely with field leadership to support productivity, scheduling, and successful project execution. Monitor project progress and take corrective action when necessary to maintain schedule and budget expectations. Maintain accurate and organized project records. Support project billing, forecasting, cost reviews, and closeout activities. Build and maintain positive relationships with customers and business partners. Demonstrate professionalism and represent the company's values in all interactions. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous project management experience in construction, mechanical contracting, HVAC, plumbing, or a related industry preferred. Strong understanding of project scheduling, budgeting, cost control, and construction processes. Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, contracts, and project documents. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Ability to work effectively with both field and office personnel. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn company-specific project management software. Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record, if driving is required for the position.
