Job Description
Job Overview The Project Manager is responsible for managing assigned projects from start to finish, ensuring accurate estimates, timely execution, and high-quality results that align with Planet Granite's standards. This includes interpreting project documentation, communicating with clients and builders, and supporting the production process to ensure jobs are completed profitably and on schedule. Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day project details including timelines, schedules, and scope of work
- Track internal schedules for templating and installation to ensure timely execution
- Communicate job status, issues, and changes to both internal and external customers
- Select material for upcoming jobs, ensuring alignment with client expectations and job requirements
- Create and maintain field, admin/AR, and service order files for all assigned projects
- Collect and manage documentation from builder customers for use in estimating, billing, and scheduling
- Create billable quotes as needed, based on scope changes or additional work requests
- Coordinate with internal departments (production, scheduling, accounting) to keep jobs moving smoothly through the production process Maintain organized and accurate project documentation, ensuring accessibility and compliance with company policies
- Ensure all files are created following company guidelines
- Any and all other tasks assigned by management
- Generate detailed and accurate quotes for assigned projects based on blueprints, internal pricing sheets, site conditions, and builder/client requirements
- Review material needs and project scope to ensure estimates align with current costs and builder pricing agreements
- Ensure builder pricing grids are correctly referenced and estimates reflect approved pricing
- Request and track purchase order (PO) adjustments and variance POs as necessary
- Identify and communicate corrections needed on builder purchase orders
- Communicate regularly with builder accounts to address questions, provide updates, and resolve issues
- Verify compliance with contractual agreements, pre-approved pricing, and scope of work specifications
- Ensure documentation is submitted accurately and on time through builder platforms
- Follow company safety protocols and industry regulations
- Protect confidential information related to clients, pricing, and company operations
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor in all internal and external communications Qualifications High school diploma 2+ years' experience in Administrative or Project Management position 2+ years with data entry On-the-job training provided
Schedule:
Currently the position is on-site Monday - Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm. Saturday as needed.Compensation Range:
Starting at $24.00 per hour.Benefits:
