Robert Dean Architects is an award-winning residential architecture and interior design firm with over 40 years of trusted client and contractor relationships. We focus on high-end homes with a strong emphasis on thoughtful design and precise execution. We're seeking an experienced architect with strong Archicad proficiency to lead a residential project from Design Development through Construction Administration. This is a part-time contract role (~20 hrs/week) for a single project, with potential for ongoing collaboration for the right fit. Candidates must be located in or near Fairfield County, CT and able to attend weekly in-person meetings. Applications from outside this area will not be considered.

What You'll Do:

Lead an existing project from Design Development through Construction Administration Collaborate with the Principal and Interior Designer Produce clear, coordinated construction documents Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and clients Oversee drafting support and maintain quality control Develop and manage BIM models in

Archicad What We're Looking For:

10+ years residential experience (wood frame required) Strong construction documentation and detailing skills Archicad proficiency (required) Ability to work independently and execute design intent Experience with high-end clients, contractors, and small teams Working knowledge of CT codes, IRC, FEMA, and local regulations Architecture degree; license a plus U.S. work authorization

Work Style:

Remote with core-hour collaboration Weekly travel to Fairfield County, CT (Westport area) Self-directed, organized, reliable

Compensation:
