Project Manager I Hybrid within Chesapeake Utilities Territory Your role in our success will be: The incumbent works under close supervision and is expected to progressively develop skills in project delivery, stakeholder management, risk management, budgeting, scheduling, and project leadership. What you ʼll be working on: Assist with development and maintenance of project execution plans. Coordinate project activities with engineering, construction, procurement, operations, and other functional teams. Support development and maintenance of project schedules and milestone tracking. Assist with monitoring project budgets, commitments, and expenditures. Collect and report project performance information and key performance indicators. Participate in project team meetings and document actions, decisions, and follow-up items. Support project risk identification, tracking, and mitigation activities. Maintain project documentation, meeting records, and governance requirements. Assist with change management and project reporting processes. Support project closeout activities and lessons learned documentation. Learn and apply company project management standards and governance requirements. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. Strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills. Experience supporting capital projects. Familiarity with project scheduling software. Knowledge of project management principles. Exposure to budgeting and forecasting processes.
Who you are:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, Project Management, or related discipline. 0-3 years of project management, engineering, construction, operations, or related experience.
