Job Description
HOMEstretch is a fast-growing home preparation company that helps homeowners and real estate agents get homes market-ready with one call. Our services include painting, flooring installation, landscaping, home clear-outs, cleaning, and cosmetic improvements designed to help homes show better, sell faster, and maximize value before listing. As we continue to grow throughout the Tampa, St Petersburg, and Sarasota markets, we're looking for an organized, hands-on, solution-oriented Field Project Coordinator to help lead day-to-day project execution in the field. Position Overview This is not a remote or desk-only project management role. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys being in the field, managing moving pieces, solving problems quickly, supporting crews, and helping projects move efficiently from start to finish. You'll work closely with homeowners, real estate agents, subcontractors, and the HOMEstretch leadership team to ensure projects are completed quickly, professionally, and market-ready. No two days look exactly the same. One day may involve coordinating painters and flooring crews across multiple projects, while the next may involve sourcing materials, walking a home with a client, completing a final quality check, or helping solve an unexpected issue to keep a listing on schedule. The right candidate is proactive, highly organized, calm under pressure, and comfortable managing multiple active projects at once in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities :
Project & Field Management Manage multiple home-prep projects from start to finish Create schedules, assign subcontractors, and ensure materials/tools are ready Conduct job site visits, quality checks, and final walk-throughs Resolve issues quickly to keep projects on time and on budget Help ensure projects meet HOMEstretch standards for speed, communication, and quality Client Communication Communicate regularly with homeowners and real estate agents throughout projects Provide updates, timelines, and clear expectations Deliver a professional, responsive, and solution-oriented client experience Subcontractor Coordination Recruit, schedule, and manage subcontractors for painting, flooring, landscaping, cleaning, junk removal, and handyman-related tasks Build strong relationships with reliable subcontractor partners Help maintain scheduling flexibility to support quick project turnaround times Team Collaboration & Support Work closely with ownership and Business Development team members to maintain consistency in communication, quality, and execution Support workflow organization and help improve systems and processes as the company continues to grow Jump in where needed to help projects stay on track and clients stay happy Hands-On Work (as needed) Light handyman tasks, touch-ups, project pickups, clear-outs, and small field tasks as needed Occasional assistance coordinating materials, supplies, or small project-related tasks in the field Who You Are Organized, dependable, and highly proactive Comfortable managing multiple moving pieces and shifting priorities Calm under pressure and solution-oriented Strong communicator in person, over the phone, and through text/email Comfortable leading subcontractors and holding crews accountable Able to move quickly while maintaining attention to detail Interested in home improvement, real estate, renovations, or cosmetic transformations Handy and comfortable discussing paint, flooring, landscaping, and cosmetic improvements with clients Professional, punctual, and highly responsive Excited by a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment where no two days are the same Project coordination, construction, operations, home services, property management, handyman, or real estate experience is a plus, but attitude, urgency, communication, and follow-through matter most. Qualifications Required 2+ years of project management or operational management experience Experience in construction, home improvement, property management, real estate, or home services Strong communication skills — must be responsive via text, email, and phone Ability to manage multiple projects at once Detail-oriented, organized, and confident using checklists and procedures Valid driver's license and reliable transportation capable of visiting job sites Ability to lift 40 lbs and perform light hands-on tasks when needed Comfortable working in homes at various stages of repair/renovation Preferred Experience managing subcontractors Handyman, GC, or renovation experience Real estate industry knowledge Strong understanding of cosmetic improvements (paint, flooring, finishes, etc.) Experience leading or supporting a small team Job Type & Schedule Full-time Monday-Friday Occasional weekends as needed based on project load Local travel to job sites and for supplies within Hillsborough, Pinellas, Sarasota and Manatee counties with travel to our main office in near St. Petersburg airport as needed.
