  • We are searching for a Project Manager
  • Nuclear on behalf of our client.
This is a 1-year contract assignment.(W-2) You will be responsible for the completion of projects that support nuclear objectives. Employees in this role will lead or support projects that vary with regard to resource requirements, functional interaction, direction, scope, and timeframe. Individuals maintain project momentum, surface problems and recommendations, report completion status, and control costs to budget. This position is located at the St. Lucie Nuclear Plant, Florida. The successful candidate has demonstrated the ability to manage and a lead a project from conception to close out and align with best industry performance. Additionally, understanding and previous high performance in the organizations (such as PGD, Wind, etc.) to bring independent key perspectives to the nuclear organization is a plus.

(No Per Diem available) 1-year contract assignment.(W-2) Job Duties & Responsibilities Lead projects to ensure completion by schedule date Creates plans, cost analysis, schedules, estimations, and reports to communicate project deliverables and status of completion Coordinates engineering, construction and other functional resources to complete project objectives Lead and coaches schedulers, cost engineers and estimators regarding project significance Manages all related project controls and systems to support project development tasks Requirements Experience in P-6, NEO and strong excel skills are desired. Position will require travel to the other nuclear sites periodically to support outages or planned projects. Strong communication (verbal and written) is highly preferred.
The specific projects are:
  • 1 for Integrated reactor head Replacement
  • 1 for the Turbine Gantry Crane full replacements
  • Both units will be replaced stating with U-1, they will be working both just at different stages in the process
  • 1 for Condenser replacements
  • replacing both will work both just at different stages
  • This position we are looking to see who is available with condenser replacement experience.
