On-Site The Capital Project Manager works closely with operations, engineering, maintenance, procurement, EHS, finance, and external contractors to ensure projects support business objectives, improve asset reliability, and deliver operational value. The Capital Project Manager works closely with operations, engineering, maintenance, procurement, EHS, finance, and external contractors to ensure projects support business objectives, improve asset reliability, and deliver operational value. This role leads cross-functional teams through all phases of project delivery, including scope development, budgeting, scheduling, procurement coordination, contractor management, construction oversight, commissioning, and project closeout. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field with 7+ experience managing capital projects in industrial, manufacturing, mining, chemical, fertilizer, or related environments. Strong knowledge of construction and repair practices associated with Industrial structural steel infrastructure. Demonstrated experience managing project budgets, schedules, contractors, and cross-functional teams. Strong understanding of project management principles, construction execution, and risk management. Experience with capital authorization processes, cost controls, and project reporting. Knowledge of safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements applicable to industrial project execution. Experience supporting commissioning and startup activities. Strong communication, leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. Proficiency with project scheduling and project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Primavera, SAP, or similar systems. Preferred Qualifications 10+ years in a heavy industrial manufacturing environment in a project engineering or project management position Experience in brownfield industrial facilities or large-site operations. Familiarity with procurement, contract administration, and vendor management. Strong mechanical integrity and process safety management experience
