We are seeking an accomplished visionary Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) Industry Leader to drive the growth, strategy, and delivery of our national AAM practice. This role will lead business development, client engagement, industry teaming, and program execution focused on emerging aviation technologies, including eVTOL aircraft, vertiports, airport electrification, and next-generation air mobility systems. The ideal candidate is a recognized aviation leader with a proven track record of growing client relationships, leading complex aviation programs, and advancing innovative transportation solutions within the consulting and infrastructure industry and knowledge of developers, OEMs and other stakeholders in the AAM field. The position will also overlap with other areas of the aviation market and provide opportunities to have an active role in existing projects and growth opportunities while the AAM market continues to mature. Key Responsibilities Lead the firm's Advanced Air Mobility market strategy and growth initiatives. Develop and maintain executive-level relationships with airports, public agencies, private developers, technology providers, and industry stakeholders. Serve as a subject matter expert in AAM, vertiport planning, airport integration, and emerging aviation technologies. Identify, pursue, and capture major aviation and AAM opportunities nationwide. Provide oversight for complex aviation and AAM programs, ensuring successful delivery, profitability, and client satisfaction. Lead with multidisciplinary teams across aviation, transportation, planning, engineering, and environmental services. Represent the firm through industry organizations, conferences, publications, and thought leadership activities. Mentor and develop project managers, planners, and emerging leaders within the aviation practice. Monitor industry trends, regulatory developments, and technology advancements to guide strategic decision-making. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Aviation, Engineering, Planning, Transportation, or a related field. 15+ years of aviation industry experience, including airport planning, development, design, or consulting. Demonstrated experience leading aviation or Advanced Air Mobility initiatives. Proven success in business development, client management, and strategic growth. Strong knowledge of FAA regulations, airport planning, funding programs, and emerging AAM guidance. Exceptional leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills. Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage multiple high-profile initiatives. Preferred Qualifications Professional Engineer (PE), AICP, AAE, PMP, or similar professional credential. Advanced degree in Aviation, Engineering, Planning, Business, or related field. Experience with vertiport planning, eVTOL integration, airport electrification, or advanced transportation systems.
