Job Description

Professional Summary Experienced Project Manager Assistant with the ability to support construction projects from start to finish, including pre-construction, permitting, scheduling, subcontractor coordination, project documentation, and closeout. Strong understanding of construction processes with the ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain project records, and assist Project Managers in delivering projects on time and within budget. Responsibilities Assist Project Managers with managing projects from initial planning through final completion. Coordinate all phases of construction projects, including pre-construction, permitting, procurement, scheduling, construction, and closeout. Prepare and submit permit applications and coordinate with municipalities, inspectors, and regulatory agencies. Track permit status, inspections, approvals, and required documentation. Review project plans, contracts, specifications, and construction documents. Assist with project schedules and monitor deadlines, milestones, and deliverables. Coordinate communication between owners, subcontractors, vendors, inspectors, and internal teams. Assist with subcontractor management, including obtaining required documentation, insurance certificates, and compliance paperwork. Track RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project correspondence. Assist with preparing pay applications, invoices, purchase orders, and cost tracking. Maintain accurate project files and documentation throughout the project lifecycle. Assist with project closeout, including final inspections, warranties, punch lists, and turnover documents. Required Qualifications Construction industry experience required. Ability to manage and organize projects from start to finish. Experience filing and tracking construction permits. Knowledge of construction documents, plans, specifications, and schedules. Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, inspectors, and clients. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. QuickBooks and construction management software experience preferred. Preferred Experience Commercial construction experience. Municipal or infrastructure experience. Experience with change orders, pay applications, and project closeout. Knowledge of local permitting requirements. Ability to read construction drawings and understand project requirements.
Pay:
$52,000.00 - $78,497.73 per year
