Installation Summary Description The primary responsibility of a Project Manager is to coordinate installation projects and be the liaison between the customer, the company, and the crew members. Installation projects normally consist of pools, decks, patios, firepits, outdoor kitchens, and other outdoor living features. The Project Manager should provide the best supervision, leadership and training of crew members, while simultaneously providing excellent customer service and quality installation for the client in an effective and professional manner. Specific Responsibilities The following duties are typical for this classification. Incumbents may not perform all duties listed and/or may be required to perform additional or different duties from those set forth below to address business needs and changing business practices. Review and be familiar with the plans and specifications for each project Communicate and correspond with client representatives on all aspects of field operation. Coordinate flow of projects Plan and coordinate with subcontractors Place purchasing orders and keep track of orders for orders Review orders for all rental equipment and confirm with Production Manager Review all daily time sheets for accuracy and turn in to the Controller Coordinate with salesman on pricing of all change-order work Coordinate all inspections required for project - including layout review, interim inspections, substantial completion inspection, and final completion inspection Coordinate with Purchasing and Production Manager with installation of all owner-supplied items on projects. Coordinate all subcontractors on the project Review all receipts and bills for accuracy Maintain customer job file for all projects Be aware of and be responsible for project budgets Schedule assigned jobs and let all parties know about updates regarding the estimated time frame of jobs Schedule and organize all daily tasks for your crew Complete all required paperwork Understand water management and be able to communicate to customer. Recognize drainage deficiencies and problem soil Properly complete all required paperwork and turn in on time such as additional work invoices Remain the leader of the crew by assigning tasks, coordinating schedules, submitting time sheets, disciplining members when necessary Be able to properly discipline a crew member for justifiable reasons and initiate prompt written warnings where applicable Duties The following duties are mandatory for all employees of Quick Design Inc. Incumbents may be required to perform additional or different duties from those set forth below to address business needs and changing business practices. Attend regular department meetings Comply with all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations Be aware of the safety of the public and fellow employees Report all unsafe practices or conditions Take proper care of tools to avoid loss or misuse Wear appropriate uniform clothing as ascribed by company standards Have reliable transportation to and from office or assigned job site Report to work on time Provide outstanding customer service Manage time appropriately for all tasks Respect fellow employees and management at all times Fill out and submit any paperwork in a timely manner Report all accidents and personal injuries Maintain a good attitude during work Only speak positively about Miller Landscape, its' employees, customers, and competitors Miller Landscape, Inc. is a member of the Drug Free Workplace Program Please answer ALL application questions.
